Idle Springs is a cozy idle simulation game where players manage and grow their own traditional bathhouse. Designed to evoke a sense of serenity and relaxation, the game combines idle management mechanics with beautiful, hand-crafted animations and environments inspired by Studio Ghibli’s tranquil worlds.

The brief

Starting with an empty building, players gradually build their bathhouse from the ground up — expanding with new facilities such as a boiler room, aromatic baths, and natural outdoor onsens. The unique scented bath system allows players to attract and invite special guests, each with distinct behaviors and interactions, viewable in the game’s cinematic mode. With every upgrade, players balance resource investment, comfort, and charm to create a thriving bathhouse environment that runs even while idle.
