OSR Star Finder is an interactive astronomy application that brings the night sky to your fingertips. Designed for both casual stargazers and astronomy enthusiasts, the app allows users to locate, name, and learn about stars and constellations in real time through an engaging and intuitive interface.
The brief
The OSR Star Finder app combines scientific accuracy with user-friendly design to create a truly immersive stargazing experience. Users can search for stars, explore 88 constellations, and discover famous landmark stars with detailed descriptions and artwork. With features like Augmented Reality (AR) mode, Night Mode, and location-based visibility tracking, the app enables users to identify their personalized star and observe it under ideal conditions. Through a simple registration process, users can even name a star and instantly view it in the app — creating a memorable, personal connection to the cosmos.
