OSR VR: Fly Me to the Stars is an educational and exploratory virtual reality experience that lets users traverse the galaxy, connect constellations, and visit their personally registered stars in stunning 3D space. Designed to blend science, learning, and awe, the project invites players to explore the cosmos through immersive gameplay and intuitive VR navigation.
The brief
In Fly Me to the Stars, players embark on a cosmic journey across the Milky Way, connecting the stars that form well-known constellations such as Orion, Taurus, and The Big Dipper. By completing constellation challenges and visiting planets, players gradually unlock all 88 constellations in our galaxy. The experience combines interactive learning with exploration, culminating in the ability to locate and view one’s own registered star in virtual reality. Players can capture screenshots, attach personal memories, and share their star with others — turning astronomy into a deeply personal and emotional experience.
