Combat emphasizes commitment — attacks wind up visibly, swings carry momentum, and recovery windows create openings. Players must read enemy animations, choosing when to block, parry, or dodge based on incoming attack types. Stamina management prevents button mashing; exhausted warriors swing slowly and cannot block effectively. The combo system links light and heavy attacks with directional inputs, enabling skilled players to flow between techniques. Enemy variety demands strategy adaptation: shielded opponents require guard-breaking attacks, armored foes resist slashing but fall to blunt trauma, and quick enemies punish overcommitment.
